Simon A. Lee is a Ph.D. Candidate at UCLA and located in the Department of Computational Medicine.
His work centers on developing novel algorithms and computational methods for health data, with contributions spanning artificial intelligence, machine learning, and digital health.
A central goal of his research is to develop algorithms and frameworks that begin as academic research projects but ultimately reach real users and patients, improving their daily lives and enabling more accessible interactions with their health.
He has been fortunate to receive support from the Warren Alpert Foundation as an AI Fellow and has been a member of several frontier research organizations, including Google Research and Samsung Research, among other past affiliations.
